Better suited as a working-stiff, Virginia Fields could take home a salary of hundreds of thousands of dollars as a lobbyist where she could push for a stadium, noisy nightclubs and not have to suffer the indignities of pretending to listen to the concerns of constituents.

It's very important that term-limited politicians like Ms. Fields be given an equal opportunity to push back-room deals for well-heeled and slimy clients.
